Dor Studio Architecture
Is a small, woman-owned firm dedicated to making sustainable and resilient buildings that work.
We design environments in primary service of the client’s vision, while aiming to leave a site better than we found it.
We take a holistic approach, ensuring that building systems and spaces function together to create a healthy and enjoyable place to be.
We see every project as an extension of the greater building network – with the potential to support a whole stronger than the sum of its parts.
Our experience has proven this ethos achieves the highest quality design.

OTHER PURSUITS
As an amateur builder, Dorothy designed and constructed a workshop barn with her partner on their rural Colorado property. Raising trusses with two people and no forklift was her favorite part. She intends to build more structures to continue developing a hands-on understanding of the details she draws. Dorothy is also an avid rock climber and finds stoke every morning from the 400ft granite walls in the backyard.
